Smart Futures Programme

The Smart Futures Programme aims to increase the uptake of careers in engineering and technology by sending enthusiastic industry volunteers into schools to speak about the diversity of engineering or technology as a career.

Smart Futures videos highlight engineers working in Ireland who talk about what they studied at college and what their job in engineering is like.

Maths Resources

Mathematics is a core subject for all would-be engineers and STEPS provides Maths Revision Videos, Free Maths Tutorials and Maths Modelling Sheets and other resources for teachers and students. Visit the Maths section on the STEPS website to find out more.

CSI Workshops

Students will become CSI trainees and have two crimes which they will help the forensic officer to solve. CSI workshops use fingerprint and powder analysis techniques which will develop their analytical and problem solving skills.

Engineers Week
