About the programme at CIT Students will learn about the disciplines and technologies making up the diverse world of engineering, meet engineers at various stages of their careers and experience what engineers do on a daily basis.

The programme encompasses a range of activities during the week, including industry visits, hands on workshops, presentations and project work. 
Students who previously attended EYF at CIT said: “I gained huge experience in lots of different courses which I would not be previously familiar with. It also gave me a great insight into college life and a very positive attitude for going into 5th year.”

Cost to attend: EUR65 (NOTE: Fee is waived for applicants from DEIS schools.)
Application criteria Students should have an interest in maths and science.

Successful applicants will be chosen through a combination of factors, including Junior Cert results and reasons for wanting to participate in the programme.
Other information Students must cover their own travel expenses to and from college.

Students must commit to attending every day of the programme and attend all scheduled activities.
